Thanks Val.
Is the meet at Charing just for Ouch, or the general masses for the race?

No just for OUCH, the start of the race is at Hyde Park Corner at the top of Piccadilly. The race pack will have all the details about meeting times, start times, and a map of the route, so keep an eye out for that.

We take a team photo at Charing X as well.

Dazza! - I'll always have you in 'my' team :P (have sent you private e-mail).
So glad to have you on board again. Race packs will be sent out in the next 2 weeks - just waiting on a little further info...(and a few more volunteers to run!! :( )

Anymore places left? Living in London and being a newish member seems like I have no excuse not to.

Russell, I am sure Karen will bite your arm off in her enthusiasm to get you in the team - be careful about saying that you live in London, though - you might have the whole of team OUCH sleeping on your living room floor the night before the race!

Huge thanks and much respect for wanting to do this for us.

Arms I can lose... just not the legs, looks like I am going to need them. Well there's not a lot of space but if anyone was really stuck then its a free floor and there is oxygen on tap

Val,

What was the Strand like?

Seems pretty much the cheapest place, close to the 'meeting point' I can find. For the price, I'm inclined to book NOW!!

Thanks

Tim, we did this last year but they had a deal on a Club room for a few extra quid. these were newly furbished and not one of the one's 'on the roof'.
Couple of years ago we had a top floor one with a 'nissen hut' style tin roof - middle of a hot summer, not very pleasant.
The strand is ideally placed and good value for central London.

That is good! I paid that last year at the Strand and it didn't include breakfast!

Hi Karen,

If you are still looking for runners for this year's 10K then my brother is more than willing to join the team. I did mention this in an email to you a while ago but I haven't heard any more about it so thought I was best to post his enthusiasm to join on here.

Hi Michala - YES PLEASE, still need about 16 runners for the team :(
If you could get him to e-mail me his details to london10k@ouchuk.org and I can get him a 'pack' out.
Thanks!
K.
